Gregg Mortensen

(406) 539-4270

Gregg is a third generation Montanan, born in Billings and raised in Helena. He attended and graduated from the University of Montana in Business Administration. During his college years, Gregg swam for the Montana Grizzlies (four Big Sky titles), was enrolled in Army ROTC, and met his wife, Jill from Townsend. After graduation, Gregg and Jill entered into the adventure of a lifetime - - Gregg’s career as a soldier in the United States Army, and Jill’s sacrifice and support as an Army wife and mother. Gregg and Jill raised two children: Eric, and Amy, while moving frequently around the United States and overseas. In 2000, after more than 26 years on active duty, Gregg retired at the rank of Colonel and moved with Jill to Bozeman, where they built their home and started their new, non-nomadic, life in Big Sky Country.

The frequent moves while serving in the Army brought with it a fair amount of exposure to buying and selling homes. That interest in real estate, coupled with Gregg’s passion for working with, getting to know, and helping people, led him to the real estate business. Gregg is Realtor (2001), Broker (2005), and was previously a co-owner of Keller Williams Montana Realty.

Gregg has 18 years of experience in Gallatin Valley real estate, with expertise in commercial income and investment property, residential, and land.

Gregg’s core values are honesty, competence, and professional communication. He takes great pride in providing professional service and negotiating aggressively on behalf of his clients.
